Maria Callas Legacy
Support the Maria Callas Foundation in preserving the legacy of one of opera’s greatest icons.
The Foundation holds a very significant collection of Maria Callas’s manuscripts, personal items and artefacts — stage dresses and jewellery among them — alongside an extensive archive of original photographs, letters and newly restored audio-visual media. Much of it has never been heard or published.
Our aim is to make this archive available and accessible to the public through a Maria Callas Museum, and to pass on to younger generations the world of opera and the ‘lyric tradition’ she revived.
